This week is going to be a fun week.  We had so much fun with the shadow boxes on Thursday are going to play with them again on Tuesday and then I will send them home.  Please ask your child to put on a show for you.  If you have a family talent show for Christmas let them perform for the class.

Our Christmas Party is on Thursday.    We are going to play games and decorate cookies.  If you would like to contribute cookies or a small bag of candy please sign up on the door.  It would be great to have a few parent come and help.  I will have a sign up on the door on Tuesday.  The party will begin half way through class.  (10:15 A.M. and 1:45 P.M.)  We will sing a few Christmas Songs 10 min. before class ends; If you would like to watch, just walk in and come downstairs.

This week we are learning about winter in Science.  We will read some fun books about winter and have snowball fights inside. :)

Next week we will start a unit on light and shadows.  We are going to make shadow boxes if we can gather enough shoe boxes.  I need 20…one per student.  I will also need one parent to come for each class on Dec. 13^th when we make the shadow boxes.  Then your child can put on a show for you at home. :)  Please let me know if you can come help.

If anyone has Christmas toy ads please send them my way.   Next week we are going to have fun practice cutting out our favorite toys and make a class toy box.   This might also be fun to do at home too.

I have to apologize to my 3 year old class.  I keep meaning to send around a backpack for show and tell, and with all of the craziness I have, I keep forgetting to send it home with the kids.  We will now have show and tell every Thursday.
