Fall 2013 Registration Information


 
Current student & sibling enrollment begins Tue. Feb. 5th
Open enrollment begins Fri. Feb. 15th @ 9:00 A.M.

Registration & Materials Fee:  $60
This is a non-refundable deposit to be turned in with this form.  It will hold your child’s place in the preschool.

Schedule & fees:

3 yrs.  (by Sept. 1st)          Tues. & Thurs.                      9:00-11:30 A.M.        $70 a Month 
4 yrs.  (by Sept. 1st)          Tues. Wed. & Thurs.             12:30-3:00 P.M.        $90 a Month 

Our first day of school will begin on Tues. Aug. 27th.   Your child will receive an invitation in the mail about a week before school starts.   The school year will end in May and will follow a traditional school schedule.

Wear white and snow day changes

We have been having fun learning about dinosaurs and playing dinosaur games.  We are going to continue learning about them this month.

Tuesday is wear white day.

Thursday is show & tell and our snow day.  I was worried we may not have snow when I planned the day, but I never expected it to be this cold.  This morning at 10 a.m. it was only 2 degrees at the airport. Thursday will be a little warmer but not much.  We seem to be stuck and a really cold weather pattern and it may be with us for a while, so I am going to bring the snow indoors.  Please send your child to school with snow gloves only.  We will begin the day in my kitchen playing in the snow.  I am looking for small sand shovels we can use to make snow castles.  If you have some could you let me borrow that would be great.  Please make sure your name is on the shovel and gloves.  We will also have a snow ball fight with cotton balls and play pretend snow games.

January Info.

This month we will be learning about Dinosaurs.  This week I will be introducing Dinosaurs.  Then we will learn about different dinosaurs each day.  Towards the end of the month we will make fossils and learn about them.

January 17th we will have a snow play day.  Class times will remain the same. Please send your child to school in their snow clothes.  We will begin the day in the snow.  Then we will come into the house for cookies and hot chocolate snack. Hopefully there is snow on the ground.   I will let you know what the final plans are as the day gets closer.
