Halloween Party



Our Halloween Party is on Halloween on Thursday.  Please drop your child of in their costume at the normal time.  The party will begin one hour before class ends. We will have a fun snack and play fun Halloween games and tour our haunted house in our garage.   I will need help during the last hour of class.  If you are able to help out please be here at 10:20 for the A.M. class and 1:50 for the P.M. class.  I will have a sign-up list on my door for volunteers and donations tomorrow.

Lunch @ the Park is Changed for Tuesday Oct. 1st.

We will have regular class on Thursday, Sept. 26th.  See you all tomorrow.  Sorry for all of the changes.  The weather is not cooperating with my plans.

Thursday Sept. 26 Lunch @ the Park

On Thursday we are having our lunch at the park for preschool at 11 am-1pm.   We will meet at High Bluff Park.  The address is about 6700 S. High Bluff Drive.  Please bring your own lunches and I will provide a treat and activity for all of the kids.  Siblings are welcome.  The weather report looks like rain on Thursday, but I would like to still plan on it.    If we happen to be rained out, I will not hold class on Thursday but we will meet on Friday at the park @ 11am. The weather for Friday looks like it will be good.  I hope this is not to inconvenient for most of you.  I really love these days at the park because it gives me time to talk to all of you parents about your children.  It also give all of you a chance to meet each other and see who your child’s friends are.  Please let me know if you received this e-mail.

Talents and Family photo


Next week we are going to learn more about each other and ourselves.  As we learn about each other we learn we like a lot of the same things.  They get so excited when someone likes the same things they do.  Could you please text me or e-mail me what one of your child's talents are so we can talk about it on Tuesday.  On Thursday for show & tell please send a picture of your family with your child to school.  We will also use the pictures by counting family members, drawing pictures, and learning about you and their brothers and sisters.  Please send a picture or copy of a picture you do not care about.  I might put them in their all about me book we are making.

Beginning of the Year Information

*The calendar lists curriculum subjects we will be focusing on each day.  Wednesday is only for 4 yr. olds. only. 

*Please let me know if your child has any allergies I need to be concerned about.

Show & tell- Show & tell is to help your child expand their oral skills. To make our show and tell more interesting and give us more to talk about please try to send things that go with the subjects we are learning.  I have listed subjects on the calendar.
I will send home a paper bag. On Tuesday Aug. 27.  Please send it back with your child on Thursday Aug. 29th with small items or pictures of things they like.  Examples: favorite color, food, toys, things they like to do.  You can cut pictures from magazines, or let them draw them a picture. 

Sept. 26th is our Day at the Park so we can all get to know each other better.  Bring a lunch. I will provide a treat and an activity for everyone.  Siblings are welcome to come.  Parents must attend field days or have another adult responsible for your child attend.  Field Days will be our class for the day.
