I can't believe the end is so near. This year has zoomed by. I
have really enjoyed your children! I love teaching them!!!
Please note we will not have school on April 2nd
due to Spring Break. Our field trip in April may be a different day
than listed on the calender. It depends on availability of our
location. I was thinking we would go to Wheeler farm again. We did it 2
years ago and it was a lot of fun. There is a small cost for this
field trip but it includes a wagon ride and a tour guide. I will get
you more details later. Parents must attend field trips and siblings
are always welcome.
In May we will be ending our school year. The 3 yr. old class will have a short program at my home on May 19th. The 4 year old class will have regular preschool on May 19th and a Graduation Program at Hunter Library at 6:30 that night.
May 21st will be our last day of preschool and we will celebrate it at a park.
I
still have opening for my summer preschool play groups. These will be
really fun groups where we will have fun with themes and do the cutesy
stuff I don't always have time for during the school year. I will even
feed your child lunch each day before you pick them up.

Arts and Craft & Games
Ages 7 & up
Each
class we will make some fun creative crafts your child will love to keep summer
boredom away. We will also learn some
fun indoor and outdoor games your child can play over the summer with his/her
friends.

Cooking Classes
Ages 7 & up
Each
day we will learn a new cooking skill.
Due to summer vacations you may sign up for all classes at once or each
class individually. We will learn basic
cooking and sanitary skills for cooking.
We will learn how to make everything from scratch. We may learn…how to make bread, muffins,
pancakes & waffles, cookies, smoothies, frozen hot chocolate. (subject
to change) We will not go home hungry. Your child will also
receive all of the recipes so they can cook for you at home.
It is $10 a class.

Preschool Play Group.

This class will be a
structured play group. Each day will
have a special theme. We will sing, play
with friends, do arts and crafts, read stories, play games, and have a lot of
fun!
June- Daily themes
may include a cooking day, camping day, ball & noodle day, beach &
water day, and a park day. (Subject to change)

am changing around the science in February due to some scheduling conflicts. Please throw away the calendar you received
last month and I will get you another one.
We will be learning about the Ocean at the beginning of the month & learning
about health at the end of the month. A
dentist will be coming in to talk with the 4 yr. old class on the 26th.

the card. If your child has the ability, please have
him/her write their name on each card on his/her own. If they can only write the 1st
letter of their name please encourage them to do so and you can finish their name
for them, or you can also trace their name in highlighter then have them trace their
name. This is a time when you can sneak
in some learning skills and your child will be proud because they can share it
with the whole class.
