Make sure you pay close attention to the calendar this month.  This month will be full of fun activities and events.  Most days has a theme to help us review the things we have learned this year.  We will also be spending time each day preparing for our programs for the end of the month.

This month is also our Birthday month.  If your child has a summer birthday and we have not been able to celebrate it yet we will do so this month.  If you would like to send a treat to school with your child on the day they are assigned their unBirthday you may do so.  This is optional.  We will sing to your child that day, make them a leader, and I have a small gift for them.  Little things to make them feel important for the day.

Monday, May. 19th  ( 4 Yrs. only)
·         Pre-K  Preschool  12:30-3  We will have a graduation rehearsal during class.
·         Graduation Program @ 6:30  at the Kearns Library  5350 S 4220 W, Kearns.

Tues. May 20th.  Regular preschool day.
·         3yr. old will have a program practice during class.

Wed. May 21st.  No school

Thursday May 22.
·         3yr. old class starts @ 9.  Program begins @ 10:30.  (Be on time)
·         Pre-K   We will have some fun today and celebrate!  Have your child bring their favorite game they like to play.  Try to encourage them to bring simple games they can all understand.  Like Uno, Candy Land, Twister…ect.

Tues. May 27th Field Day @ the park.  Bring a lunch.  Miss. Michelle will provide treats.

Ask your child about the Ladybug larva we have been watching in class.  They are now in the pupa state and will watch them emerge as lady bugs next week sometime.

We have also been trying to grow grass.  This has not turned out well.  The pots I put them in has made it hard to keep them moist.  Needless to say they are not doing well.  I was going to make the pots look like a face and the grass would be the hair & we were going to give them haircuts but again I used the wrong pots.   I will be sending them home this next week.  We will talk about why it did not work out in class and how that sometimes happens.

It has been an amazing year this year.  All of the kids have grown so much!  I have really enjoyed teaching them.  I will truly miss them this summer!
