We will are also going to learn about rocks.  My kids love to collect rocks, so I am assuming your kids to too.  I need rocks of different sizes, shapes, and colors.  If you can will you have your child collect rocks and bring them to school next week.  We will sort them by color, size, shape, hardness(if we can get variety).  If you have a collection at your house let me know and your child can show the class any day over the next couple of weeks.  We are also going to make rock pets, so I will need stones we can paint.
